This has been my favourite so far out of the 3 Zoeva Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes I ordered.

  • The formula is not very high impact – more the kind of formula that you build up. This is good for people who aren’t great at makeup because it’s harder to make a mistake you have to blend out.
  • If you’re a more seasoned makeup user, this may not compare to the one-swipe instant mega pigment you might be used to from other brands.
  • I personally prefer more buttery formulas, however I’m still happy with my palette because I don’t mind building it up, and I’m always very pleased with the final results.
  • I really LOVE the assortment of shades here. They pinks/mauve tones all compliment each other very well, and so do the green/khaki tones.

Here is a closeup of my favourite shades in this palette:

Here are some swatches, which I divided in 2: The more green/brown shades, and the more pinky/mauvey ones:

The shade “Talk, write, read” definitely translates the most different on pan, as it looks purple there but applies browner with a subtle purply shimmer depending how the light hits.

I really love how well the pinkier shades combines together with my brown eyes. I’m a sucker for mauve/earthy tones though…

Overall, it’s not my favourite formula but it blends easily on my lid and gives me the look I’m going for. For $28, it’s not an amazing value but it’s not a disappointment either.
