Juvia’s Place mini Nubian palette

This came in my December Allure box and at first I was really excited about it.

Here are my swatches of it:

  • As you can see this palette is small and excellent for travel, the shades are pigmented and beautifully easy to blend and wear.
  • The warm shades are very flattering with my brown eyes.
  • It has a great mixture of shimmers and mattes.
  • ❌My beef with this beautiful little palette is that it doesn’t include a cream or ivory matte, which I always use to blend the very outside of my edges and give my brow bone a natural everyday highlight.
  • If you have a more medium or dark skintone, then I think this palette would be perfectly well rounded for you!

I still use it at home and I’m glad I have it, but I wish it was more complete to serve the purpose of a travel palette.

  • Mamonde Oil to Foam cleaner (forgot to include in photo! ?)

This month’s Allure box seems pretty good to me! Once again absolutely worth the $10 and including products I actually like and will use!

  • The BrowGal instatint is actually my current favourite eyebrow gel! I’ve been using it since I got one in my free Summer’s Eve Boxycharm and I absolutely love it. I was actually going to be repurchasing this, so I’m really happy it came in my Allure box! It volumizes and fixes in place my brow hairs like no other, including my previous favourite which was Benefit Gimme Brow.
  • The Mally liquid lipstick looks pretty, although I have other lipsticks in this shade and didn’t find them flattering on me (too pale/grey of an undertone) so I think I will rehome this.
  • The Moda brush is actually soft and hasn’t shed yet, and the angle of the bristles make it great for carefully shading the crease of my hooded eyes!
  • The Wander mascara I haven’t opened yet because I have too many open mascaras at the moment and don’t want them to dry out, but I’m really excited to try it because I know lots of people love their mascaras!
  • The Mamonde Oil to Foam cleanser works well, and although it’s not mind blowing or specially amazing, it’s still pleasant to use and cleans my face.
  • The Rose mask I haven’t used yet because I’m considering sending it to my Australian bestie @kimkroft (trollolol jk, she has a horrible allergy to rose skincare, and I always joke about it – But it really sucks for all the people who have allergies to this and get stuck with Rose products in their beauty boxes ?) Thankfully I’m not allergic so I’m looking forward to trying this.

This box arrived quite late but I was able to take a quick photo of it before I left for the airport on Wednesday.

It has a pretty good assortment of things I know I’ll enjoy, except for the shade of the nail polish, because I’m not really a red nails kind of girl. I still think for $10 this box was a good value and I’m really looking forward to using especially the Sunday Riley goodies when I get back to the US in 2 weeks.

A bit late, but here’s my November Allure Beauty Box

Are you overwhelmed by all the amazing sales going on yet? I know I am… Since this box included all masks, maybe I need to just put one on and relax while I do my online shopping tonight ?

  • INVISIBOBBLE – Hair Ring

I haven’t used anything in my box yet but I have previously used the Glamglow Supermud and I enjoyed it even though I don’t get acne or breakouts, it still left my skin feeling clean and radiant.
I’m looking forward to using everything else over time, as I don’t mask more often than once every week or 2.

My October ❤️Allure❤️ Beauty Box arrived while I was on vacation!

I am legitimately thrilled with this box for the price of $10. I enjoy Sunday Riley products and when I found out they’d be in this box I immediately resubscribed to this box!
Here are the contents:

1. SUNDAY RILEY – Ceramic Slip cleanser (30ml)
2. SUNDAY RILEY – Good Genes lactic acid treatment (5ml)
3. HOURGLASS – Caution Extreme Lash mascara (3.5g)
4. FIRST AID BEAUTY – Ultra Repair cream (28.3g)
5. CAUDALIE – Vinopure Skin Perfecting serum (10ml)
6. BKR PARIS – Water balm (2g)
7. KENRA – Dry Oil Control spray (34g)
8. WANDER BEAUTY – Baggage Claim Gold eye masks (1 pair)
9. GALEXIE GLISTER – Glitter Gel in “NY Mornings” (15g)

I think I got a great value and so many items that I’m really excited to use this month!

The only items I already owned from this box are the @firstaidbeauty Ultra Repair Cream and the @sundayriley Lactic Acid treatment, however I love both of those so I’m thrilled to have more of them! The @wander_beauty seem interesting and I’m looking forward to using them because I have almost no items from this brand but I’m interested in trying more. The @hourglasscosmetics Mascara is something has really good reviews and I’m also happy to be trying it because I love what little I’ve used from their brand. The only item I’ll need to figure out how to use is the gel glitter from @galexieglisterbecause I’m not very good at glitter usage.
