FLOWER BEAUTY – Petal Pout Lipstick in “Naked Blush”

This is my first lipstick purchase from Flower Beauty!

At $7.99, it’s quite affordable (and even better if you grab it on sale).

Here’s my swatch:

This shade is a very pretty pinky nude in a matte finish. It’s definitely a little more of a spiced looking pink shade in person than it looked online.

It’s a comfortable kind of matte, which also means it will rub off more easily.
The lipstick I got keeps coming loose from the tube, and I have to be careful when applying so the whole thing won’t break off.
As time goes by it seems to get more dry and might be more draggy during application than it previoysly was.

✔️Overall: I think this is a nice affordable lipstick in a really pretty colour and is worth trying out, however, the tube/mechanism needs improvement, and the formula could also be improved.

Flower Beauty – Shimmer & Strobe Highlighting Palette Review

This was the first purchase I made from Flower Beauty – and I had never swatched it.

I’ve talked before about how picky I am with highlighters (I really don’t like glitter or chunky ones) and I prefer something that can go from soft to blinding so I can adjust it depending on the day and my mood.

This highlighter does all that. It’s very buttery and soft and a little product goes a long way.

The formula has no glitter and is super buttery and buildable from natural to strong.

For the price you really can’t go wrong! My favourite shade out of the 3 is the leftmost one, but they’re all beautiful. I’d definitely purchase it again and recommend!

Today I’m reviewing Flower Beauty Flowerpots Powder Blush in Warm Hibiscus.

How cute is this blush?! I have been very curious about Drew Barrymore’s brand Flower Beauty for a while now, so when I saw a few of their products were on sale during Ulta’s Fall Haul sale, I had to jump in and try it.

This product is the Flowerpots Powder Blush in shade “Warm Hibiscus”. It is a luminous blush which depending how the light hits has a golden shift to it. It’s not super pigmented which I enjoy in a blush, because I prefer to build it up and have more control over the pigmentation that way. This blush gives me a very pretty, healthy flush of colour and luminosity which is great for days when I want to do my makeup quickly and get out of the door while still having a natural glow on my face, without the need for extra products.

FYI I have fair neutral skin, and haven’t tested this on other skintones.
I also purchased a highlighter palette from them which I’ll be reviewing at some point.
