Summer’s Eve free Boxycharm (Scroll down for swatches!)
My free box of goodies from the Summer’s Eve promotion in collaboration with Boxycharm arrived today!
Keep in mind the contents may vary from person to person. Here are the contents of my box:
- Tarte pro-glow liquid highlighter in “Exposed”
- Colourpop “Semi Precious” eyeshadow palette
- Dr. Brandt “Vacuum Cleaner” pore purifying mask (1oz)
- The BrowGal tinted brow gel in “Brown Hair 02”
- Adesse liquid lipstick in “Haute Cocoa” (0.23 oz)

I am really happy with the items I received and I feel that I can actually use all of them! And considering I got it for free, how could it possibly get any better?
This experience has definitely had its ups and downs.
I originally was incredibly excited about this offer when I first heard about it. I already was a Summer’s Eve customer for years, so getting a box of free beauty products while buying something I was already going to buy anyway felt like a dream. I went pretty quickly and bought not the 2 required Summer’s Eve items for the promotion, but I actually bought 4 just because I was going on vacation and wanted to bring extra wipes with me (they’re excellent for staying fresh and clean during trips!). During the same shopping trip, I bought other things I needed at Target. When I checked out, I used a coupon on a deodorant I bought. Imagine my surprise and unhappiness when I submitted my receipt for the Summer’s Eve offer, and got a response from them saying they denied me because I used a coupon on a different item on the same shopping trip. I was really upset because I did nothing that should disqualify me from their offer. I complained to them and they stood by their decision. However, a couple of weeks later they sent me an email telling me they were rectifying their mistake and I would indeed receive my box. I didn’t know if it was true or not until it showed up at my door today!
At the end of it all, I am liking this box so much that it’s making me want to actually subscribe to Boxycharm!
