So I ordered my first ever Allure subscription box because I wanted to try the Ole Henriksen “Transforming Walnut Scrub”, which retails for $28. For $10 I was able to get that product in its full size, plus all these other goodies:
- Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask mini
- KVD mirror
- Everlasting lip liner in “Lolita”
- Lipstick in “Double Dare”
- Tattoo Liner in Trooper (black).
Overall I’m incredibly happy with my purchase simply because I got the Ole Henriksen full size Scrub for only $10! I absolutely LOVE it. It smells really amazing, and it genuinely does “transform” my skin when I use it. It leaves it soft like a baby’s butt, very different to other scrubs and exfoliators I’ve used before. And it doesn’t irritate my skin at all! A word of warning: definitely use this scrub with your fingers. At some point I tried to use it by applying it on a wash cloth and then rub it on my face, and it was way too harsh when used that way. But it’s beautiful and leaves excellent results when used as intended: circular motions with your fingers. I actually also use this scrub on my shoulders and lower neck area, and it leaves them so soft and naturally glowy!
The rest of the products I received are also good, the Tata Harper is a product I’ve received previously with my Sephora Play box. It’s surprisingly good at fading dark spots on skin and lightening them up. The Kat Von D products are good, I had never used any of her stuff until recently. The lipstick and lip liner are pretty shades and feel creamy on my lips.
